Born in
Sofia-Bulgaria in 1958, Victor discovered the beauty of art at a very
young age. Obsessed with drawing, as a teenager he took private lessons
(1974-1977 and 1982-1984) and studied drawing and portrait under the
supervision of well known Bulgarian artists such as Professor Toma
Grigorov and Georgi Kyoseiliev. From 1980 to 1982 he studied sculpture and
ceramic techniques under the guidance of the sculptor Emil Mirchev. His
interest motivated him to pursue his studies in Architecture and
Engineering. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering in 1988.
In 2000, he
joined the Ottawa Watercolour Society (OWS) . In 2009 by a panel of judges
he was given a Fellowship in the Ottawa Watercolour Society. Fellowship is
the highest accomplishment of excellence in both skill and watercolour
painting and the highest membership standing of the OWS.
